Hello Parents, 

It is time for our first home project. It consists of a timeline and an optional "Día de los muertos"(Day of the Dead) picture sharing presentation. Our room mom will be setting up an altar and students can bring pictures to share between October 30th-November 3rd. 
The timeline will be Friday October 27th. I sent a hard copy home with the directions for the project today in the orange folder . You can also find a digital copy in our homework tab. 

English words have been added to the homework. We will be having our first English spelling test next Wednesday October 25th. The test will be for the words that will be assigned in the homework on October 18th. 

This week: 

Spanish Language Arts: 

Essential Question: "What jobs need to be done in a community?" 

Math:

Decomposing Numbers, Number Stories, Counting on to add, inverse addition 

Next Week: 

Spanish Language Arts

Essential Question: What buildings do you know? What are they made of?

Math:

Decomposing Numbers, Number Stories, Counting on to add, addition math inverse

Science: Sound Waves for the month of October

 English Rotations: We will be starting next week. Students will be rotating Monday's, Tuesday's, Thursday's and Friday's to Sra. James class for English in the afternoon.
